My girlfriend taught sign language at the university level for many years and is nationally certified. I am trying to learn it now. There are all kinds of free resources on the internet. On soronson(?) website, they sell video relay phones, I believe they have all kinds of links up there to sites that will show you how to learn sign language for free.
