“Wanna Know Love” by Kristy Lee in Sign Language (SEE/PSE)

Another FINALLY as I complete my last Kristy Lee request (too much Red Bull tonight)! Alright, I did have a little help from my scene-stealin’ kitty 😉 I haven’t looked to see who requested that yet, but I know it was one of my first requests – one that I lost when I had to open up this new channel. Was it you, rainbowscraps??? Thanks for being so patient! LYRICS BELOW My story: To begin, Ichose my YT name so that my friend could find it easily — & I could remember it! It just made sense. However, now that it’s found it’s way to over 29000 people, I don’t like that it sounds like I’m an expert selling something. I am neither. I cannot change the name or I lose the videos, as well as the great, supportive comments I’ve received. I am not deaf. I was inspired to learn from my cousin & my ASL instructor, both of whom are deaf, as well as from a friend’s child. I am not an interpreter, although that may be a route I chose someday when my children are older. I have a long way to go to become even close to fluent in ASL, so I admire those that are. I also took classes to learn Signed Exact English (SEE) as some schools here use SEE to teach young children who are also learning to read. Signing here is not enough practice versus having real conversations with someone who is deaf; that is the best way to learn. I started signing to songs with my daughter for fun, then did my friend’s fav song for her birthday (“My Wish”). My email couldn’t handle the video, so I popped it up .

  1. REMOVE SEE/PSE!!! Please remove the see and pse is because you do do do NOT use any of SEE or PSE. Do not be moron foy SEE or PSE! ugh… Change to ASL!

  2. AMAZING and to be doing this to a Kristi Lee song just makes it even better. Thanks for doing this!

  3. I found your videos while searching for Kristy Lee songs. I’ve always been fascinated with sign language. I’ve wanted to learn it for years now. I believe it adds an entirely new dimension to music. If there is a translator at concerts, I find myself watching the translator. Keep making the video’s. I know I’ve enjoyed them as I’m sure many will after me. Bless you. 🙂

  5. Well, Lauren, she did have the transplant, and so far, so good. She is still sick a lot and in pain, but she’s a trooper. they are adjusting her anti-rejection medication. Thank you for your prayers for her. Every little bit helps. she is a very special girl and her friends are lucky to know her.
    Love,
    Tiffany

  6. Hi Tiffany~ how is your friend, Jaden, doing? Did the transplant go well? I added her to my prayers when I read this. Sending blessings and thoughts your way… ~Lauren

  7. Hi, Laure4n. Its Tiffany again. Just wanted tom updfate you on my deaf friend Jaden. she is going tom be having Kidney transplant surgery in a couple weeks. she was born with only one, and it is now infected with something that i can’t spell or pronounce, so they will have to give her a transplant from her brother, bless his heart. Jaden is such a wonderful girl and is inspiring to me. Thats why I wanted her to “HEAR” that song, I’ll stand by You” by the pretenders
    Your friend,
    Tiffany

  8. Hi Tiffany, so sorry I haven’t seen your comment until today! I have a request list of over 60 songs right now (!!!), but I’ll add yours to it. Not sure how many years it will take to get done though at the rate I’m going! I think it’s awesome that you are learning to sign, especially with such a close friend. Good luck to you both!! ~Lauren 🙂

  10. Thank you for the comments and feedback, CountryPeach09! I appreciate you taking the time to let me know 🙂

  11. Beautiful job. You showed people that any one can sign a song or even a converstation. Excellent job. Keep it up.

  12. I like this one..never cease to amaze people that ANYONE can do this. You have done it. Beautiful job. Keep it up.

  13. Thank you for the nice feedback! Signing here is a lot easier than having a true conversation and being able to receive the signs as well. Practice, practice, practice….:-)

  14. Very well done, its great to see someone who can really sign! The fact that you use facial expressions is what really makes it smooth.

  15. I keep typing a response to you here, but it never shows up! Attempt #3: Mike, thank you so much for your supportive comments! You don’t know how fast I race to read your feedback. You are such a great mentor; you could pick apart my songs, but encourage me instead. Thank you, thank you! ~Lauren

  16. Your signing is SO much better, beautiful and graceful. Always a joy seeing you sign. Keep it up! Smiles…
