Ok so I’ve met a really nice guy who is deaf, and I’m not. I’d love to learn sign language so we can talk to each other, I’m just not sure the best way to learn. Should I take a class, buy a book?…Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Take a class – it is always obvious if a person learns to sign using a book because the book has to show you the signs in such a way that you can see what all your fingers are doing and that position is not always the way it is used when talking.
Heck, ask him to teach you – just write him a note!
