Surprisingly, it is different. A boy at school knew sign language, and he said that it’s different in other languages. But it makes sense, since the sign languages developed in different places.
Nope, it’s different everywhere. So yes, they’d have to learn Chinese sign language.

imagine similar abbreviations for sign language for words in other languages.
No. They are different in the same way voice language is different.
