Best language to learn if 14 years old?

I know English and ASL (American Sign Language) and I really would like to learn another language. I learned ASL in 1st grade and am know taking it as my foreign language in high school. I was going to learn Italian and i really like it, but it’s not used much here in the US. What are you’re suggestions?

  1. SPANISH.. Its an awsome language.. especially now cuz like if u know spanish and english you hav better chances on getting a job or sumthin you kno

  2. spanish because my dad owns a restaurant and a lot of people come in and like half of them can speek spanish so soon almost everyone wil need to kno it if u just want to learn for fun i would do spanish first then italian

  3. Spanish! It is similar to english and it is the most known language around the world there for in life you will use it more.

  4. Spanish.

So many countries speak spanish, that it would be a waste not to learn it, esp. at an early age.

  5. Get a head start now, in Spanish. It’ll be worth more doing that because it is more widely used, even throughout the whole world. If you live in the US, you’ll also have more opportunity to practice it, and actually get better, where French and Italian are hardly spoken in the US. Most people succeed in Spanish as their second language in the US, than any other language because of that reason.

  6. Thats pretty amazing that you know ASL
I think that spanish is an extremely useful language. Many people across the planet speak spanish.
Another idea would be to learn Mandarin Chinese. It might be kind of obscure right now but it would be a great investment in your future. China very well might be the next superpower and if you can speak english and chinese you could be very well placed

  7. Spanish would be the most useful. I know it sometimes is to me. But it also depends on What you want to learn. I mean We could tell you what would be the most useful or the easiest to learn. But its you that’s going to have to invest your time in this so make sure it’s what you want to learn. Spanish is Madatory at my school so I learn wether I want to our not. But Im also going to start learning Japanese because I love their Culutre, Music, Fashion, Everything! and Im pretty sure that Eventually I will be moving over there to Work. So make sure you like and even love the lanuage and the culutre before you invest your time and possibly money into it :]
