Does anyone know where I can find a dictionary of Italian sign language?

I use American Sign Language (the deaf form of communication) as a performing art. I translate songs into ASL and sign along to the music/vocals.
I am working on songs by Josh Groban (the most beautiful, velvet-like voice of all time!) I thought, for accuracy, I would do the Italian songs with Italian signs, but I have been unable to find any books of Italian signs.
I don’t care if the book is in Italian or English, I just need to learn the signs.

  1. I thought that sign language was a universal language! You learn something new everyday.

  2. You DO know that the principles of ASL are universal; right?
I speak ASL & when I was in the Middle East, I met a Deaf French guy. We had no problems communicating.

  3. i live in italy here and i have a friend who is deaf, in fact i usually contact her by speaking and her reading my lips and me listening to her speak differently but enough to understand. what are the words you need to know?

if you cant find any other help contact me and i can ask her for some refference books.

(after reading above) its not true that the american sign language is universal, because my italiand deaf friend told me that its happened twice where some american girls tried to speak to her in the american sign language and she didnt understand not one single word.
