  1. I’m still learning, but my mom is fluent in it. And she is still learning, Signs change all the time, update theirselfs if you will, and you gotta learn them or you’ll be lost kinda like our language with the slang.
    She studied i think for less than 3 years, and became a sign language teacher, made pretty decent money.
    But she lost her drive for it.

  2. I do know Swedish Sign Language fluently. (And work as an interpreter)
    Studied at an sign language interpreting school. The education lasted for four years. But, of course, there’s a lot of other things you have to learn other than just sign language to be an interpreter, so you could learn it faster. (Basically it takes about the same time to learn as any foreign language. Spend time around sign language users and you’ll learn it faster.)
