  1. in a way sort of because i think you can use sign language all over the world but i tried to learn it and there are some people who discouarge sign language because it teaches mutes to not speak and listen by watching your lips move but instead talk with your hands so i would say yes if you live in america

  2. In my opinion, yes. Out of every language I’m learning (I’m currently learning Spanish, Italian and Japanese, and I dropped Latin) but I used to learn sign language when I was young and it’s very easy.

  3. You can learn some signs and have a basic vocab for starting some kind of conversation.

But, knowing some signs doesn’t mean knowing Sign Language.

The vocab is pretty extensive and especially the grammar is something you need to know before you can say you are using it in a correct way.

Also, Sign Language is defined for non-manual communication (facial expresions, body movements, speed in the signing) which takes quite a while to handle.

As any other language, the more you practice and get inmerse in it, the easier it’s going to be for learning it.
