Ok here is a little more detail…im waiting to propose to my girlfriend until after graduation and i was thinking on ways to propose to her and one of the ways that i thought out is that i would propose to her in sign language because she knows a lot of sign language and i was wondering if it was a romantic way…and if i can get anymore ideas…please help…

Uhm, I think it’d be more emotional (in a good way) to just ask her in voice, because if she’s not deaf then it’d be more emotional for her. But, at least your trying to come up with unique ideas.

Go for it ! That is a great idea and one I am sure you will both always remember. I can’t remember a thing about when I proposed because it was just done in the usual way, your way however is unique and will mean quite a bit to your future wife that you took the time and trouble to learn a bit about what she herself knows. Do it in sign language, but if you could possibly figure a way into say it out loud too, that would be great.

I think its very romantic. It is something special between you too and that is what a proposal is about. I would love it if I was proposed to in that way, specially if he had to learn the language just to ask me 🙂 so so sweet.

Just make sure you also learn how “yes” and “no” looks because she might answer you in sign language and you need to know what she says! lol
i would sign it and then say it out loud. every girl wants to her the words, i made my fiancee ask me twice because i was in shock

NO! Don’t do it, it’s totally unromantic!!! Think about when everyone asks her, “So how did he do it”….she’s going to be like “oh, yeah um…he did sign language?!?”.Completely stupid.
