Im considering taking a class on american sign language next year. I think it’d be very beneficial and I find very interesting.
could i obtain job opportunities with this skill? and how well do i have to be?
Do you know how to speak sign language? Is it hard/ long to learn?
any FEEDBACK is truly appreciated!
i’d like to hear what you think!

You need to be very, very fluent in Sign Language (both understanding it and signing it) to consider a job in Interpreting. It’s a very tricky career choice because you need to have excellent qualifications and proficiency in order to get in. You can also use your ASL skills to get hired in an establishment that caters to or involves working with deaf and mute people, not necessarily a job that requires interpreting.
