I have a special way , in which i learn the letters, and increase my learning speed also! I make the letters become a part of another story, which also contains the things i want to learn! I have did this by creating a huge roleplaying game, where there are twenty six stars named for the alphabet! The letter becomes the signal for the star name, and i get to study in my mind, while i play the game! it has improved my speed immensely, because i not have a huge context for everything i want to learn!
Go to Google and type in “asl browser” and click on the first link. It has a list of words you can learn. With Sign Language, you have to memorize alot, so go to this as much as you can if you’re really serious about learning the great language!

they are both really good websites because they show the motion of the hand…I think if you are really interested in learning sign…learn the basics from the site…like

HOW SIGN ……. (fingerspell the word you want to know)
if you go to rid.org they have a link to each states chapter of interpreters and they usually have a list of deaf events….surround your self with deaf people!!! You’ll learn it faster!!! Good luck sweetie…if you have any more questions, feel free to email me!
