  1. I learned the sign language alphabet and some of the basics in about 4th grade after learning about Helen Keller. But I never really followed through with it, I wish I had though.

  5. I want to learn sign language :] but the deaf person I know reads lips so I never learned it.

  6. I know a little sign language but not much. I would love to learn more and plan to at a local deaf school when I have enough cash. One of my nephews is deaf and I would love to communicate with him.

  7. I would love to learn! It would be a great way to communicate with friends in class. We attempted to learn it once – all we know is how to signal “double hamburger”. Well I guess if I lose my voice then I will still be able to eat junk! 🙂

  14. I took ASL(American sign language) in 9th and 10th grade. I have always been interested in it for as long as I can remenber. When i finally took the class it was soooo interesting. You don’t only use you hands to convey the words you use your face like lifting you’r eybrows when asking a certain type of question. Or you use certain expressions for certain words. You’d love it if you like acting.
