In American Sign Language (ASL), I was a victim of the Face Book ID theft myself after I learned from the telephone company bill. There were unknown service added to my telephone bill and I decided to investigate the matter and realized that it was done by other person from the Face Book. Recently the television news announced that the Face Book and other social networks are the breeding grounds for ID Thefts So you need to be aware and be careful not to disclose all of your personal information in your Face Book as well with other social networks such as My Space, Twitter and more to list. I have no problem using Facebook.. I only accepted friend if i know that person. Never never put your home address and phone number on ur profile. myspace is WORST. alot of things happened. few weeks ago, school teacher raped 15 years old girl as she thought he was 17 or 18. men are pig. Dont trust myspace. very high drama than facebook. thanks..
Wow..Thank God! I did quit the FB and myspace. I won’t sign anything to network interent for the contacts. I am sorry. It’s sad for deaf people do not talk too much that your loss! Better know about the contact on the straight by the e-mail. I may suggest deaf people to use the contact on the e-mail instead of the network interent not safe! I glad that I did right thing so earlier b/c for a reason I am taking a serious for my career with a paralegal that who deaf people need my help.

I’ve never put where I lived or gave my number out on facebook at all, I knew not to ….. anyone new to facebook best think twice anyway before doing anything like that. If you been on the net for over 10 years you would know better anyway not to put info like that on facebook by now.
