why do they leash her?!
I would like to see two gorillas talking to each other in sign language
@koskoni then how come apes, humans, and more intelligent creatures are able to feel love and feel emotions like that? seriously dude, you have to put more thought into humans. because we have something more than worms and plants.
@ironmadion55 or how about this one fella: humans created a god for themselves because it made life more simpler to understand and more bearable.
facinating creature. makes you think, maybe God did create something more than just humans, maybe he created all creatures to be like Him.. there is a way for God and creatures to coexist, all it requires is interperating the unimaginable..
shes gorgeous
Koko always puts a smile on my face.
@boomtao She was taught math, but she didn’t really like it.
They should teach multiple apes this skill and put them in a commune, leave cameras rolling, and see how they use it to better themselves
Koko is awesome, but why does Koko look bored half the time?
=P anyone who thinks animals aren’t smart or don’t lie obviously never owned an intelligent dog. my dog lied alot, especially when she was younger. or, at least, acted innocent when we KNEW she’d done something bad and then she’d grin at us like ‘oh, no, i’m CUTE you LOVE me~’
Koko is so adorable and has a great and warm personality, I want one! lol jk
@tedtug you you really think, that the people teaching koko really told her to ACT happy? the poor animal didn’t even notice the freakin cameras!! komo was acting naturally, what you see is the process of learning in her, it’s fasinating (:
@TheChumzo i know right?
lol 😛
@xavii5 except for that there is no god so all that stuff is false
It appears the animal has severe ADHD
@tedtug Most of them are rescued, in fact I don’t think any of them are ever caught. Animals in Zoos and the like are treated very well.
this seems like a circus trick
@drakeneyez : You’re the ape, you assfuck.
@tedtug : Time for you to shut the fuck up now.
Penny was actually pretty hot back then!
I would’ve thumped my chest like a gorilla for that. :p
this is a really strange documentary. While it is amazing, there is something just unsettling about watching the unedited scenes of koko’s daily life…
@nuggbubbler Sweetie, we’re not talking about attacking silverbacks with machetes, we’re talking about psychologists sitting in trailers with a zoo-born gorilla. There was a comment to the effect of “I’d be afraid to do what Penny is doing because Koko would rip off my arms!!”, but I guess you have to be omniscient to see it.
@tedtug
1. you’re not very good at antagonization
2. just start up a fan page already
3. take it easy, you’re trying to hard
4. you sound like a little beeeeitch
5. 😉 😉 😉 😉 😉
@tedtug
whoah whoah whoooahhh. Hold on, save the rain forest! you’re fucking hysterical!
