@tehinfidel yeah well i did hear something about it, dosent interest me much, i just came up with the idea, that it was possible thanks for the respond.
@skimenneske Humans and great apes have different numbers of chromosomes; our chromosome 2 fused together from 2 separate chromosomes at some point in the past; so even if there was still enough genetic similarity, the DNA in the gametes would be unable to recombine to form a functional zygote. This is one of the loose definitions of species: we’re in the same subfamily/tribe, but unable to reproduce.
The fusion of chromosome 2 is interesting though, and worth reading about if you’re inclined.
humans making apes pregnant or apes making humans pregnant, would that make a new speacie? or is it even possible, to me it sounds possible, primates breading with primates?
This is kinda what the aliens did with us.
hey shrivyshrivey, i was using my friends account, austinp2006, but i dont know of a video documenting this, it is just something we talked about in my class. im sure there is osmewhere online you can look it up though. happy hunting.
iono why, but gorillas remind me of african americans
@austinp2006 Are you serious? can you send me the video? id like to see that
there is an ape at central washington university that has taught its offspring sign language without human intervention. simply amazing.
lol 1:04 koko is like “STFU I TAKE WHAT I WANT!”
@mamushi72sai5575 lol she dropped it right on it’s head.
FUCK DA BABY I’M OPENING THE DOOR!
@kenora101 Chimps are apes and so are we. An ape is any member of the Hominoidea superfamily of primates, it’s not a species of its own but is comprised of many different species. Our closest living relative is the Chimpanzee with whom we share 94% of our genome according to Scientific American (look it up.) Bonobos would be next followed by gorilla species.
@juliewashere88 ok well i belive that ther are more than 2 different homo ancestries and i nvr said we evolved from neanderthals.
but chimps arnt our closest living relatives
they dont have more 90% they only have 86.2% which is close to 90
but apes and homosapiens have 98.3 which makes them our closest living relatives
@kenora101 Actually there were far more than just 2 homo linages, so many in fact that we can’t even be sure which ones are our direct ancestors. We didn’t evolve from Neanderthals though, that was a whole different homo linage. More than that, we didn’t just evolve from apes, we’re still apes now. We’re also still monkeys for the same reason.
And we share over 90% of our genes with chimps and they are our closest living relatives.
@juliewashere88 actually we did evolve from apes. what happend was apes evolved into 2 species in the same period of time. neanderthals and another species which we evolved from. we eventually wiped out the neanderthals wen we evolved and we killed the rest of our species that ddnt evolve. we have 98.3% of the genes as apes and only 86.2% of the same genes as chimps
it was apes that we evolved from
lol, she just dropped the baby doll.
@emanuelcako I thought the same thing at first, except that gorillas only really need the language to communicate with humans. They were doing fine before they learned sign language.
@juliewashere88 lmao
@WrathOfDemons Pot. Kettle. Black.
@juliewashere88 do you feel smart your use of fowl language just proves to me how ignorant and stupid you are
@WrathOfDemons Monkey is technically accurate as we’re all monkeys, but inbred? Fuck off. Try reading books that weren’t written by bronze age goat herders.
@juliewashere88 i know what a theory is anndd shut up you inbred monkey
I wonder what Koko is thinking with regards to the plastic baby. “What he hell is wrong with you? It’s fake! There’s no hole in the sipper, and there’s nothing in it. What the hell do you want me to do!?”
@WrathOfDemons ‘…just a theory’ Do us a favor and go look up what the word ‘theory’ means in science. Then, go look up what the theory of evolution actually says as you don’t seem to have a clue.
@juliewashere88 which is just a theory that begins with 1 cell and then it turns in to a primitive fish yer greatest granpa is a flounder yaaaayy
