Please read, lyrics, etc…This song is dedicated to the inspiring Drew; his daughter, Adriana; the love of his life, Jennifer; and the friend they have lost, Jess. Drew, you’ve waited so long for this; thank you for your patience. You and your family will remain in my prayers. Your absolute devotion to them through all that you are going through is the true inspiration. Thank you for the reminder to make each day count. I wish you strength, peace and the comfort that you have given so many. My best, ~Lauren Thank you to Julie for helping me on this one, and to Ivy for – everything… [LYRICS BELOW] I amnot deaf. I was inspired to learn from my cousin & my ASL instructor, both of whom are deaf, as well as from a friend’s child. I also took classes to learn Signed Exact English (SEE), not out of disrespect for Deaf Culture and ASL, but because I wanted to learn to communicate on all levels. SEE is used in schools (at least in my area) to teach young children who are also learning to read. In fact, our local Children’s Hospital was looking for SEE interpreters. I started signing to songs with my daughter for fun, and then did this song, my friend’s fav, for her birthday. At the time, I had no idea how to use or incorporate ASL into song w/o losing the meaning and rhythm. So, I came up ….

It seems that the signs are not all there, but what do I know because I do not know that much sign language. It is however VERY beautiful I appearicate good ART!
Beautiful. First word that comes to mind after watching that. Amazing song to start with, the signing add a whole new level of meaning to it. Incredible.

this is beautiful! im learning this song to sign to my boyfriend of a year who is currently battling cancer. he is my hero. thank you 🙂
This is, in my opinion, so absolutely beautiful the way she signed it!!!! I am hard of hearing plus I have a tracheostomy(plastic tube in my throat) so I can not talk. I was an interpreter for the deaf before I got cancer, now I need an interpreter almost daily. I think this is just fantastic!!!!! Thank you for signing this, May God bless you always.
Very beautiful, I’m not deaf but I’m a mute (I can’t speak) and I have looked for this song in Sign Language
This almost brought tears to my eyes!! This is such a thoughtful thing of you to do for so many people out there in the world..also with such a touching song. Keep up the great work!(: **By the way;; i love the fish-tank in the back!! I’ve always wanted one.
I remember, It was really crazy. I was Diagnosed with Leukemia in late 2005 and my first month with the cancer, this song was number 1 on the top charts. It still wanna cry everytime I listen to it. 🙁

disabled people can hear music….Deaf people cant there is a differance…People who are deaf do not look at themselves as being disable some look at it as a positive thing.
