I am going into high school and as one of the world languages. For the past 3 years I have taken French and completely bombed it, so my teacher recommended me for a different language. My question is….. is sign language easy or hard to learn?

Depends on how fast u are and if you’re good at working with your hands and memorizing motions.
i think easier than french
Sign Language has it’s own unique grammar and syntax, and many people who take it as an “easy out” are soon disappointed to find the complexities of the language overwhelming.
That said, I’m a strongly tactile learner and very weak when it comes to recieving information auditorially so ASL was a good choice for me.
It really depends on the individual and how they learn.
