  1. @jackiechanwhoopa actually she knew the names of the letters at 17 months. Watch some of our older videos and you will see that she learned the names of the letters first and then we moved on to the sounds

  2. Well, most kids that age can recognize all the letters, but because we teach them the name of the letter, not the sound. I’m almost sure this little girl doesn’t know the names of the letters…

  3. I think parents should begin teaching their children this sort of thing when they’re very young. My father taught me to do maths (and he still does) and my mother taught me to read and write, which I could do two years before my friends. It’s really changed who I am today, because I got such a head start.

  4. I love how happy she is and jumps up!!! What a dolly! My children are 23 and 21 years now…..oh how I miss those days!

  5. oh my goodness she is just absolutely adorable.
I was similar to your daughter. I was reading as she is at her age and come my fifth birthday I was reading chapter books and we couldn’t find anything that would be my level in i guess enjoyment and comprehension yet high enough in reading level lol
    She is positively precious.

  6. OMG I LOVE this video. Will put this one up on the baby signing site as well. Fireese, you are INCREDIBLE!!!!

  7. @lprincess1985 no 🙂 Just before that I say ‘woo’ and just after I say ‘do you know how to spell this’ 🙂

  8. @littleblondemop I got them from toys’r’us but you can probably get them at most toy stores or online. They are by LeapFrog

  9. What kind of ABC magnets are those? It looks like they are easier for little toddler/preschooler hands to pick up. Where did you get them? I want to get them for my toddler.
