WOW! So many views! Thank you SO much everyone! I’ve gotten so many awesome comments and messages about this video, including some great questions about Sign Language and Deaf culture. I’m overjoyed to see that it’s touched so many lives and blessed so many hearts. I will most definitely be filming a how-to guide for this song, plus more videos in ASL soon once I’m finished with finals. Thanks again for your kind words! God bless!! -Jen PS: Follow me! twitter.com —- Me doing “Give Me Your Eyes” by Brandon Heath in American Sign Language. There are some pictures thrown in too. Some are a tiny bit graphic and sad to go along with my interpretation of the song, but they get happier I promise. I spent a lot of time on this video, so please let me know what you think! This is pretty hard to sign, haha…a lot of signs and it’s super fast! =) God bless! -Jen Here are the lyrics: Looked down from a broken sky Traced out by the city lights My world from a mile high Best seat in the house tonight Touched down on the cold black top Hold on for the sudden stop Breathe in the familiar shock Of confusion and chaos All those people going somewhere, Why have I never cared? Chorus: Give me Your eyes for just one second Give me Your eyes so I can see Everything that I keep missing Give me Your love for humanity Give me Your arms for the broken hearted Ones that are far beyond my reach Give me Your heart for the ones forgotten Give me Your eyes so I can see Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah Step ….

Girl, you are truly talented! I cried the first time I heard this song. You made me cry again. Now, I had the chance to “see” it sung for the first time. Thank you for touching my heart, again! God Bless you, too!
I LOVE IT!!! Thanks for blessing us with your amazing gift!!
Hi, that was really beautiful. I love this song and seeing it in sign language was really neat. I’m hoping to learn sign language in high school watching videos like this really helps. Thank you so much for making this video 🙂
I came across The CODA brothers. You might enjoy them alot. They are 2 brothers who tell stories about growing up hearing in a deaf family. All of their vlogs have voiceover interpretation. They are pretty funny!
i really love this!
i can see that God is working in you.
You did a nice job incorporating photo images into the song. You have a great understanding of vocabulary and smooth flow in your PSE signing. Now you need to get into a class called “contrastive analysis” which will teach you the difference between English and ASL. Increased use of classifiers, grammatical structure of ASL. Deaf teachers or CODA teachers is a MUST to break out of your current signing style. Go girl! You can do it! : )
Hey, all! I am Jenny. I’d like to invite you to join ~~~deafmatching dot c om~~~ Here you can find thousands of sexy deaf singles, enjoy videos, photo gallery and more. Welcome to join us!!
i think when she points at her head it means “for” so shes actully sayin “give me your eyes for a second” ??? im not sure but i dont thinks shes asking for his eyest o be put in her head.
This is not the first time I have seen this translation… Do you think the sky being “broken” is going to make sense to a deaf person? And you’re not really asking for His eyes to be put in your head are you?
Try, “look down through clouds,” and “Help me see your perspective.” Keep practicing. Good job.
I love it, Iam deaf from New Zealand,
yea this isn’t ASL but PSE.. sighh who ever is teaching U SL is not teaching U ASL 🙁
Was semi com neccessary ???.this is just constructive criticism nothing else 🙂
Love the song(!!!!), not the pictures so much, but somenthing ironic, the song is “give me your eyes”, but it’s signed for deaf people.
awesome
You are certainally talented but you are not signing in ASL. You are signing in PSE. Hugh difference to a deaf person. PSE is in english word order and on the mouth . ASL is Picture concepts and not English words. Keep studying but have deaf teachers.
as a beginner signer that was very easy to follow. thank you!
That was really inspiring. I love how you put the pictures in. It really does open my eyes. God bless you.
People use fingerspelling [what the alphabet is called when you use it] when they dont know a sign, or if you have to say a specific place. Like if i had to introduce you to a deaf person i would fingerspell your name. Or if i said i lived by a target i would have to fingerspell target. Hope this helps. :]
This is the best signed song out of all ASL users signing the same song. You are amazing! MORE! MORE!
Wow. I’m learning sign and this is amazing. The signs are so clear and easy to follow. It’s fast, and yet, I was able to see it so well. Thanks for posting.
