Okay I am not demaning u at al..but I also am watching Signing time with alex and Leah, and they do ball and Play diffrent..so who is more up to date?

@Banerika Two people trying to learn anything at all is better than a whole room of people who have learned nothing. Yes, I want to get it right and respect the language but I’ll not lash a person who makes an error.
In my view, the “naysayers” are teaching others to respect the language and culture of Deaf people.

Someone commented on her repeating steps because they learn faster. I don’t and her repetitive gestures aided me. I found nothing condescending either, she is teaching and not knowing just what ages ranges might be watching. If she did wrong on signing candy then that makes her an average human being, prone to mistakes. To her I say I learned something new and I pass on to the Lord my gratefulness at being taught something each day. Have the naysayers taught anyone anything today? Enjoy!

Have you seen any good tutorials on youtube? I am a personal trainer and I have a deaf client. He is teaching me some, but I want to learn between our training times as well.

She is very condescending and doesn’t have any qualifications to teach ASL.
I’m deaf myself but the way she talks is makes me feel like a little kid in kindergarten…I hate that feeling
i’m real deaf person, she sign candy wrong lol.. it look like she was sayin/signin serious instead of candy.. everything else was right but not candy.. she was sayin “serious”
there is caption for the hearing impaired…duh.

This is a funny video. One thing for sure is the english captions…What does what ever is being typed, have to do with anything she’s teaching? In here she’s teaching, what…how to spell each word? And in the caption its talking about emotions? Freakin funny. & what’s the deal with having to repeat things so many times? I don’t know much ASL and i am not in a class. I do go over to a club 4 about 1 hr. ‘He’ goes over it once and fast and i get it quick. It’s only my 2nd time and i know a lot
