Is your aunt in the U.S.? Unless this child is being raised in China, she won’t be speaking Chinese Sign Language. Depending on her age, she may know some words in Chinese Sign Language but she’ll soon be using American Sign Language (or the sign language of whatever country she’s being raised in.) You’d be better off learning that, and then, when you first see your new cousin, ask your aunt to give you a quick tutorial in the Chinese signs she uses. She won’t be able to find services in this country in CSL, so she’ll switch to ASL before she gets much older.
