I could learn hindustani and sanskrit easier than I can figure out the signals people make today. How do you learn it when everyone denies doing It?
watch tv talk show and movies..make friends with youn americans..that sure helped~~

i also purchased a book from Mickey Flodin called “signing illustrated: the complete learning guide”. the book teached u according to events and themes… i recommend if taking classes is too expensive for u
I have been taking evening college classes in American Sign Language for two years now. While classroom credit is necessary if you want to be an interpreter, the only way to really become fluent is interaction with the deaf community.
Look for opportunities to meet and sign with deaf people. A lot of churches have signed services, that would be a good way to meet. There are social events going on, most colleges with sign language programs have ‘deaf friendship clubs’ or similar, that get students together with people from the deaf community, they usually don’t require that you be a student to join.
