  1. Awweeee! Not only is she adorable but she’s a smart little cookie! I adore her! Forget what they say. Sign language is great for anyone. You’re doing a great job!

  2. i am teaching my daughter signing too. i do not see why people still think it delays speech as you can clearly see she is signing and saying at the same time. and i think it actually make it faster and easier for them to learn more things. if there are kids that do not speak while learning how to sign then they are not been taught properly. i have the “your baby can read” and “your baby can sign” and my daughter loves those dvds.

  3. I’m another mom to testify that signing does NOT delay speech development. Your little one has excellent pronunciation for a two year old. And she is a cutie.

  4. ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! I am a deaf education major and have grown up not knowing a lot of sign although I have a deaf brother…. this is AMAZING and I will be doing this with all of my children because I know how hard it is to learn sign now instead of during that prime learning stage!

  5. SHe’s a smart cutie!!! Also very polite. More polite than my little sister (8 years old). I love it when she says “Excuse me” when she burped. She also has such a cute name!

  6. me 2 , i was like aww.. wait what did the baby just say . lol i have the same problem with my niece have to watch what she says , hard to tell.

  7. OMG! I thought of something else when she was asked what’s F is for! I even watched it so many times to make sure it was really FROG! LOL!

  8. she is a doll baby 🙂 omh and so smart for a little 2 year old girl. g is for grandma…aww how cute, fireese is a vvery cute name too! (: and i love the –excuse me. lol.

  9. i love these videos im no where near the point of having kids but my friend is having one soon and i’m so showing her this signing stuff…

also the cutest thing ever when she burps and excuses herself!!!!

    i cannot stand ill-mannered children you’ve got such a pleasant baby… xx

  10. We did this with our little girl. When she started to talk it wa followed quickly by full sentences and at the age of six she now has a better grasp of languages then others of her age. It truly is one of the best things you can do for your children

  11. She is so cute, especially when she sad “excuse me”. she’s adorable and very smart. 🙂

  12. Fireese is adorable. She can spell even before she turned 2. 🙂 Wow, that’s quite amazing…

  13. I can imagine involving motor functions would help learning as it would recruit more areas of the brain to focus on the same concept.

  14. she’s cute and they are so smart at that age all kids it just needs mommy to guide them.. I remember my kids when that age and my youngest learn 3 languages, English because we spoke English and Spanish because we live in Spain and German because their grandparents are German. In the beginning I thought the kids will have difficulty but a child brain is like a sponge they just absorb everything they hear, see and learn.
