Would you use the IX symbol when signing a song in ASL?

I’m signing a The only exception in ASL 1 class and need to gloss it down and I was wondering if I needed to put the IX before the I.

For example:

I SAW MY DAD CRY

Would you use the IX for that?

I think you may not be getting any responses because people don’t understand what you mean. I’m an interpreter and I’ve read and re-read this and shared with some of my co-workers and we can’t figure out what you mean…I think people need more information on what you mean by IX. Sorry! If you can explain more maybe I can be of more help!
