sign language!
if you decide to learn foreign.. you’ll have to learn the words, how to write, read, etc.
Sign language because there are just a few signs involved in it but in a foreign language there are many words and phrases to remember and you have to get them perfect or you won’t get it right. I just personally think sign language is better.
sign language. i work in a school with mentally and physically disabled children– after six years of spanish in school i still know more asl than spanish. with signing there are little to no grammar rules, where as in a foreign language you need to know different forms of the words or past and present tense. the easiest way to learn asl is to be around the deaf and watch them communicate, many of the motions for asl are pretty easy to guess.
Sign Language!! It’s fun and easier then a foreign language and it’s so neat to use your hands rather then talking even if it is a foreign language. It comes in use if you have a job and no one can speak sign language but you then you could help a customer out….that feels great :).
I know that learning Spanish was very hard for me this year .
Depends on why you are learning a language, is it for work or for school?
I would reccomend sign language.
Did you know…Parents often teach basic sign language to babies since babies can’t talk and that way they can tell their parents whether they are hungry, thirsty, etc.
Sign language.
For starters, there are no new words, spellings or pronunciations to learn.
Secondly, much of American Sign Language uses common sense hand motions (i.e.: the motions for words like “why” and “milk”).
i think a foreign language would be way easier for me. im learning french right now and im fluent in spanish and english. it probably depends on how your mind works. if youre an auditory learner, a foreign language would be easier, and if youre a visual learner sign language would be easier. im kind of a visual learner but since i have experience with different languages its easier for me.
sign language. only that you will have a limited access to use it. =)
