Ok, whoever is saying her signing is wrong, how can someone who is deaf and has signed their whole life be doing it wrong. I think she did amazing. Keep up the the good work and keep signing songs. :]
Ashley, this is sooo amazing. I love it. I also do English signing. I have a book that I learn from called “Signing Exact English”. Some of the signs you did were different from what I learned, but I understood most of it and they look similar. I’ve been learning sign language off and on since I was 4. I had to learn because I could talk, now I can but I will always have sign language in my life. I sign to worship songs mostly, but I also like secular. That is how I learn, by signing to songs.

Just because your school did it differently doesn’t mean that it is right stop being so fucking presumptuous. Of course ASL is signed in “English” its not like its in American, there is no such thing. I say your signing is wrong because for example you signed APART as in for two people to be away from each other when the lyrics say be a part as in be involved. Those are obviously two completely different things. So yes you are wrong.
@gomenesigh in my mainstream school our deaf people and interpreters never signed ASL. We always signed in English.
I’m not wrong. All over the world is differnt than us.
1. If you’ve been signing that long than you should know how to interpret a song.
2. You are definitely wrong. You were signing ASL, American Sign Language or Signed English.
There is no such thing as English sign language unless it is the sign language in England but if it was I would not be able to understand your signing because there is nothing the same about them.
@gomenesigh Why its not right signing? This is not ASL! Its english sign language. I’ve know sign language for 14 years. duh
It was pretty good but some parts weren’t really interpreted and some of it wasn’t right.
