Would taking Italian and Sign Language at a community college this summer look good on my college app?

I’m a high school junior. I currently take Spanish, but I am interested in trying Italian and American Sign Language too. Would taking these two courses look good on the college application?

By the way, I’m taking these courses because they sound interesting and I think they will be fun and useful to know, and I’m just curious about the college app thing.
Also, I am in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, so my other classes during the year are rigorous.

  1. Definitely sign language. I learned at college and it comes in handy. It’s more than a language, its a culture. Not like going to Italy wouldn’t be culturally less significant but come on, deaf people are all over America and it helps when the hearing know how to properly communicate with them.

  2. if you want to learn some italian, contact me. I’m an italian native speaker, I live in Turin and I can help you. Ciao!
