  1. yes, it is good to have a certificate in sign language for any job dealing face to face with the public, it will put your ap on top, i promise.

  2. Language skills ALWAYS open more doors.

    For example, suppose you wanted a career in health. You and another nurse apply for the same job. The interviewer sees that you know sign language, and the other applicant doesn’t. Since you know sign language, you get the job. It’s not that the other person had fewer nursing credentials…it’s just that you have a broader skill set.

  3. Sure there is, if you watch TV news or talk shows sometimes you will see a translator in the background using sign language.
    But the best benefit is being able to talk to someone who can’t .
