“All-American Girl” by Carrie Underwood expressed in American Sign Language. [All lyrics and music are property and copyright of Carrie Underwood. I am not the owner, nor do I take any credit. He could already see him holding that trophy, Taking his team to state. But when the nurse came in with a little pink blanket, All those big dreams changed. CHORUS And now he’s wrapped around her finger, She’s the center of his whole world. And his heart belongs to that sweet little beautiful, wonderful, perfect All-American Girl. Sixteen short years later, She was falling for the senior football star. Before you knew it he was dropping passes, Skipping practice just to spend more time with her. The coach said “Hey son, what’s your problem? Tell me, have you lost your mind?” Daddy said you’ll lose your free ride to college, boy you better tell her goodbye. CHORUS But now he’s wrapped around her finger, She’s the center of his whole world. And his heart belongs to that sweet little beautiful, wonderful, perfect All-American… And when they got married and decided to have one of their own, She said “Be honest, tell me what do you want?” And he said “Honey, you oughta know… Sweet, little, beautiful… one just like you. Oh a beautiful, wonderful, perfect All-American…” Now he’s wrapped .

  11. ohhh okay, i read it as u were replying to his comment and i took it as he was saying u were doing a bad job.

  12. i think you might be confused…
    farmboy is exactly right.

filinepriss1 is the one thats wrong.

  13. ummm farmboy, u dk what u r talking about… she does a great job using her facial expression and facial grammar in this video. she is right, they r important to signing asl, and she does a great job!

  14. stacianne,
If you’d like to see 7 things signed, you could check out Captainvalor’s version. It’s really good!

  15. I think you do a beautiful job Ally. Still want to see my requests i sent you too. 🙂

  16. Think of facial expression in the terms you would think of tone for voice. If you talked in a monotone all the time, no one would really know how you mean things or what your feeling. Facial expression conveys the same thing in ASL and deaf conversation.

Since signing is visual, they need some way to convey the “tone” of what they’re talking about! If you can’t argue a point intelligently, don’t bother please! =)

  17. well, kind of difficult to NOT take offense to the way you worded it, but they are called facial expressions and facial grammar.
they are very important to use when signing ASL.
