  1. @5oHearts In my opinion – if I may – I believe the spoken word can be an art. The written word can be an art. And the signed word can be an art. …… That being said, I feel signing to music is an art. And, depending upon the signer’s personality and deliverance – and the song, a sexy art at that. Personally, I like the musical aspect, the passion, and the intellect of a skill all rolled into one. :o)

  2. I think this is pretty awesome..and I don’t think you’re being disrespectful to the deaf culture whatsoever. The dancing is distracting just a bit, but who can’t not dance when this song is on? lol :]

  3. omg I love it!!! It was great! As a fellow signer…do you have any tips on doing ASL poems? -I’m dieing in class. XD

  4. Genius how u recreate video,esp start&gloves,esp as,being bloke,u can’t recreate porny aspects(w same interpretation in our soc).Interesting that you shoot from below2scenes,1feels like tripod-height choice,1actual choice:in feminist theory,porn is shot from above2make viewer unconsciously feel power,in control&art history theory old portraits(of rich normally)slightly from below so u feel slightly intimidated unconsc:therefore u empower u,t performer,counteracting porny aspects:well cool.BSLnxt

  5. Genius how you recreate the video, which is clever because it’s hardly the song that’s the good part: especially at the start and the gloves, genius. It’s harder because you’re a bloke so can’t recreate the porny aspect of things (with the same interpretation in our society as if you were female, anyway). Interestingly in two scenes you film from below – one feels like it’s a tripod-height thing, one a choice: in feminist theory (me=hardcore oldstyle anarchofeminist) the fact a lot of porn is

  6. And as for respecting the language and the culture, you know nothing about my views, so don’t judge me based off of a video that is seen through a media website. I have huge respect for both the Deaf Culture and the language.

  7. I am not saying that ASL is an art, although I do believe that any language has an artistic side to it, including spoken languages. I am an entertainer, so introducing dancing and choreographed moves is part of my personality, henceforth I blend the two. If you were an entertainer, would you be offended that I used sign language in my dance routines? No. Some people, both deaf and hearing, sign differently based on their personalities. It’s not an uncommon issue.

  8. Signed english is seen. I sign, me your love bad write. Your signing is very clear, but the dancing is a bit distracting. ASL is not an art. It is a language. If say ASL is an art to a deaf person, they wouldn’t appreciate it. I was taken back by it. If you are saying asl, the first thing I think of is, Deaf language. Not an art. No one is painting it. please be more respectful on the use of asl.

  9. I love it. Last week was my first ASL class. I go tomorrow, and I am so damn excited. This video is helping me learn a few more words, awesome…thanks!!

  10. reminds me of that really strange part of napoleon dynamite where the sign language team does nsync or something. cool though.

  11. very nice signing…thank you..i have to agree too very difficult in some parts of signing takes time……
