“Do I” in ASL (only)

“Do I,” by Luke Bryan, expressed in American Sign Language by Ally. When searching for YouTube vids, be sure to take notice of if it is REALLY ASL, or if it’s SEE/English that is mislabeled.. There are LOTS of SEE/English YouTubers out there. If you’re wanting TRUE ASL, take caution.. It feels just like we’re always running FEELS LIKE ALWAYS AVOID. OBLIVIOUS. Rolling through the motions everyday EVERYDAY SAME-SAME LAID-BACK BORING. I can lean in to hold you, or act like I don’t even know you CAN I LEAN-IN HOLD-YOU. OR. ACT IGNORE, DON’T-CARE. Seems like you could care less either way EITHER-OR, YOU DON’T-CARE. What happened to that girl I used to know LOOKING BACK, YOU, PROGRESS-TIME YOU CHANGE. HAPPEN WHAT? I just want us back to the way we were before YOU-AND-I RELATIONSHIP PAST. NOW, I WANT AGAIN! Do I turn you on at all when I kiss you baby, HAPPEN KISS-YOU, YOU EXCITED???? Does the sight of me wanting you drive you crazy, ME WANTWANTWANT YOU, THAT, EXCITE YOU???? Do I have your love? Am I still enough? YOUR HEART, HAVE? I STILL ENOUGH? Tell me don’t I, or tell me do I baby TELL-ME. NO? OR YES? WHICH? Give you everything that you ever wanted EVERYTHING YOU WANT, I GIVEGIVEGIVE, RIGHT? Would you rather just turn away and leave me lonely? YOU PREFER WALK-AWAY, LEAVE-ME LONELY? Do I just .

  1. just a quick question….is the fasical expressions needed to make the signs or is that not part of it?

  2. Ally I love what your doing with your songs. But it is so helpful when you take time at the end of the songs to translate the signs. I’m working on phrasing with my signs and it’s hard for me to put them together w/o sounding too much like I’m speaking.

  3. Every time I get into a song you always post a video signing that same song! Haha Looooove it (:

  4. I love this song.. I heard it for the first time after my ex-husband and I spilt up..it said all the things I was feeling…thanks for posting it.

  5. @allyballybabe Thanks!!!!
but is there a difference in the moving your hands side to side sign, and the sign were you pinch the first finger and thumb together palm up? Have you seen this sign?

  6. @rockmusicrockall2 you are probably signing PSE. or CASE (conceptually accurate signed english).

  7. @emilypop617 Isnt there another sign for change though? Like where you sorta turn your hands lol im so confusing,i know

  8. Very emotional song and very well done. You look like you’re about to cry though and I hope everything is okay with you. Keep up your great work!

  9. i love brad forever, no matter what we have been through and where we end up in the end. I honestly will always love him.

  10. @untraceablekiss that’s awesome!! The trailer for Hamill looks amazinggggggg 🙂

  11. @jaytalex10 wellll 1) im not quite sure i understand your question… in ASL, you use a different sentence structure.. you don’t really need words like “as, to, the” etc and a lot of the signs are directional… it’s completely different than English.
    2) i messed up on that part, actually. i should not have pointed to my mouth. i was supposed to just sign “do i”
    3) the DO in moving your hands side to side means to DO something, like, being active..

  12. @allyballybabe you should sign it! it would be awesome! ^_^ btw, you inspire me to learn more ASL, just thought i’d let ya know, your signing skills are breathtaking!!

  13. @allyballybabe You said he was HH 😉 no biggie. Yeah, I used to lifeguard with Russell back in the day, its good to see him coming up!

  14. @untraceablekiss yep! did i say otherwise somewhere? if so, i sowwie!!! Russell went to the school that I interned at and we’ve talked a few times, but I might’ve made a mistake in typing somewhere. thx for clarificiation! 🙂

  15. @allyballybabe Russell is actually deaf- he uses hearing aids to be able to hear some- he is totally deaf without them.
