  1. I don’t know of any websites, but those are very simple signs. Please – right hand open palm (fingers together) in a circular motion over your heart. Thank you – right hand open palm fingers together – bring the tips of your fingers to your chin and then bring your hand outward. Milk – right hand open and then close, open/close like you are squeezing something. Water is your “3” fingers (index, middle and next) to look like a W (pinky and thumb touching) brought to your lips.

Hope I didn’t confuse you too much!

  2. you can go to aslpro.com, but if you really want to have a resource that you can have with you, just go buy a pocket dictionary at barnes and nobel. You can also use some sign language to signal other people in your life, such as your husband. some people s-p-e-l-l out words that are not for their children to hear/know whats going on. you can use sign instead. at parties where you are uncomfortable, you can sign “go” or “finish” or “bored” without being noticed as much.

    Have fun!

  3. while i could provide you with a website,i wont as the others that answered have mentioned the one website i knew of.
in my own experience i have found (i am hard of hearing and find signing easier to do in certain situations) that the best “teacher” of things is to find someone who already knows ASL, and can therefore teach you visually rather than trying to learn from a website or book.
