I learned the sign language alphabet and some of the basics in about 4th grade after learning about Helen Keller. But I never really followed through with it, I wish I had though.
No I don’t, but I was considering taking some classes at university, I though it was really interesting..
I might take them next year
I don’t, but about 4 years ago, my sister started learning it, and well, now she’s fluent and she teaches the deaf. No one is deaf in our family. That is amazing to me.
i learned how to spell my name in the fifth grade and ive always wanted to learn it since then
i know some
and i am learning it
I want to learn sign language :] but the deaf person I know reads lips so I never learned it.
yes and yes
I know a little sign language but not much. I would love to learn more and plan to at a local deaf school when I have enough cash. One of my nephews is deaf and I would love to communicate with him.
the alphabet; from the back of the dictionary
; )
I would love to learn! It would be a great way to communicate with friends in class. We attempted to learn it once – all we know is how to signal “double hamburger”. Well I guess if I lose my voice then I will still be able to eat junk! 🙂
No I don’t know sign language But I’ve always wanted to learn I was going to take Sign Language at my school but I took Italian instead
I USE to know it, fully. My dad was dating a deaf woman for a long time and him and I took classes on it. It was awesome. But luckily she read lips and coulda KINDA talk, so talking to her was a breeze!
For some reason I have always wanted to learn sign language, but I never did. I just found out that they’re teaching a bit of sign language to my grand son in his preschool. I think that’s wonderful.
I took 4 years of American Sign Language. It was so easy to learn. Everything makes sense once you start learning it.

i love having 3 ways to communicate with ppl

I learned a little bit of American Sign Language, but only enough to say “hello” “my name” “sorry” “thank you” and “apple”. I would like to learn more though.
no and yes
I don’t know sign language but it would cool to learn.
I took ASL(American sign language) in 9th and 10th grade. I have always been interested in it for as long as I can remenber. When i finally took the class it was soooo interesting. You don’t only use you hands to convey the words you use your face like lifting you’r eybrows when asking a certain type of question. Or you use certain expressions for certain words. You’d love it if you like acting.
No and yes.
No, i’d like to learn it
