you can take some local classes around your area.. or learn online. which is a little bit harder, but more convenient. i learned in school, since i went with hearing impaired. it’s fun, but takes some work.
yeah theyre in the dictionary i learned them from there from like elementry lmaoo
Good luck. if you find a quick method let me know. 🙂
There is really no way to learn an entire language quickly. No more than learning spanish overnight, german, etc.
However, total immersion is best and will get you the ‘quickest’ results.
The online links that the other posted are good ones. ASL Pro is great for dictionary purposes, and Lifeprint is great for lessons on signing and learning about Deaf culture.
There is also a full resource of online sign language dictionaries at:
Take some classes, check meetup.com for free sign language classes in your area.
If you are close to an all-deaf school, definitely go there and ask to volunteer for a few hours a week. That will get your skills up soon!
Hope this gets you started!
Thanks for asking about this.
1. find a good book
2. find friends who want to learn aswell. it would be much fun.
3. engage in activities that require you to use sign language.
like helping out w/ people who communicate sign language.
4. watch a movie w/ a “deaf” theme.
5. expose yourself to sign language everyday.
I suggest you check this website http://www.hellomandarin.com/ There, not only you can you download audio books with accompanying texts, but also you will be able to learn Chinese face to face with Beijing teachers and practice with volunteers, which makes it easier and faster to learn Chinese. I hope you make progress everyday in learn Chinese.
