Does it matter if you use American Sign Language signs with the left or right hand or reverse of what is shown with ones that use both hands? For example if they show the right hand going over the left and you do it with the left over the right? I’m just wondering because I’m learning ASL and I’m left handed so some of the signs they show with the right hand I naturally sign with my left. Thank you! <^..^>

I’m not an ASL expert but the deaf teacher at my school has never complained when I switched hands just as long as the signs are right, it shouldn’t make a difference.
You should use your dominant hand to do the dominant motions. Use your left hand. Do not switch back and forth.
