Sorry no book ideas but the first thing i learnt was how are you lol – boring i know… Oh & the alphabet. I’m only 14 so i’ve got a while to go. 😉

Is there a reason why you are learning sign language? I learnt it bcoz one of my friends is partially deaf and all her family are fully deaf.. So thought i would learn lol.

i know a couple of songs in sign.
“Watch the lamb” and other christian songs. if you need help i can tell you person who will teach you step by step of sign. but its all songs. and you will havt o buy her CD’s and there like 20$
haha Im a coda, so my first sign was “milk”, “I love you”, then the alphabet. lol. (when I was a baby of course!)
I only learn sign like “fish” “ball” “thank you” “please” “water” “milk” to teach my son when he is about 9mths old. Objective is to be able to communicate with him and able to understand what he wants. It works. Whenever he wants something, I will ask him “what should you say if you want something?” He will then do the “please” sign! 😀
