I’m looking for a book (or books) on sign language as research for a novel. But I know there are a ton of texts out there! Can anyone recommend some good titles that, likewise, aren’t too expensive? It can cover either American Sign Language or Signing Exact English and, actually, if there are books on both, that would be helpful.
Thanks & Cheers!! 🙂

There are also different dialects…when I sign something in Oregon it may mean something different in Florida.
There is so much involved in the language.

What is your name? translates into Your name what?
Maybe for quick referance go to http://www.ASLpro.com>>some signs on that site are older though.
