I am a college student in my second year, and I am studying sign language. I have personally found a lot of good information on http://www.aslpro.com. This website has a video dictionary for different signs. I think a video dictionary is personally easier to use than pictures, because pictures can be very vague. The only thing to remember is that signs can change by region. But this website is helpful if you just want to start with some basic signs.
Your public school is legally responsible for providing education to your child, and they should have provided you with all this information. If they haven’t, call the principal and ask for a meeting TOMORROW to get it. Special services for your daughter (and her support system) are provided until she is 21 at no cost to you, including transportation, if needed. She should also be given instruction during the summers or whenever she might not maintain her learning. You should not be on your own to get this information!
You local council has a duty to help you ,
The schoo; has a duty to help and support your daughter.
try social services, they will put you in touch with the right people
good Luck
http://commtechlab.msu.edu/sites/aslweb/browser.htm is another good site for signs with videos. If you child has a deaf ed teacher, talk to him/her for suggestions and opportunities in your area. The deaf ed program may even have videos/resources for you to check out.
