Why? extra info: I am learning and my 19 month old son as well. Me, because I have always wanted to . And my son because I believe it will be a great second language for him. what are your thoughts?

I’m only 16, but I have been learning Sign Language since I was 5. I think it is very interesting and for the most part easy. I plan going to college and possibly going into a career involving ASL because there are a lot of good paying jobs in the profession. I’m most likely not considered fluent (YET), but I can hold conversations with deaf, hard of hearing, and other people who know asl. On a few occasions I have even helped people in public places kind of as a translator.
