how many people that have no auditory problems learn or able to use sign language?
if there are, give some statistics about the whole country as well.

  1. Umm, most of the realitives of deaf people have to know ASL to communicate with them so quite a few.

  2. I am hearing and I learned to speak sign language about 10 years ago. When I was still learning, I met a girl who is still my best friend to this day. I use it when I am talking to her, but other than that I dont use it much. I don’t have any statistics, but I can tell you that the number of deaf people and services for the deaf are higher in any state capital. That’s becuase the capitals have more government funding and government-run programs that are used by the deaf and the disabled.
