How would you sign ‘outlaw’ (or something similar) in American Sign Language?

I basically would like to know how to sign the sentence:
“I am an outlaw” as I am going as an outlaw for halloween and am trying to learn a bit of ASL before I hit college and take a class :). Plus, it’s fun.

I found a translator online which is great, and have learned several words, and I know how to sign “I am”, but can’t find “an” or “outlaw”.

Any help?

  1. I would probably sign “Rebel” or something, then fingerspell “OUTLAW” if you really want that English word.

But yeah… Sign “ME” then “REBEL” with the person marker. Don’t sign the word “am.”

They have an example of Rebel (or protest, or revolution… that concept) on aslpro.com
