Well first of all being a teen parent has nothing to do with it. But anyways you just teach them like you would to tlak. But instead of saying the word for example Bottle, you would sign bottle then give it to her. I know someone who did this with their daughter and are very happy that they did.
Not sure- Do you know how to sign? Ask yourDR> find a book on it-YAhoo search GOOD luck!
With your hands…. and be patient.
This is a newer idea that many parents are implementing. I’ve watched it happen and helped with the process and its actually quite amazing. Basically, you want to start with simple things. Pick up a sign language book (if you don’t already know sign language) and look for simple gestures. For example hungry is simply rubbing the belly (I think). Do that one, she should be able to pick that up quickly. Before you eat or before its the normal time to feed her, do the gesture and say the word, don’t forget to speak clearly and try to mimic the gesture and situation exactly each time. You could also sign up for a sign language class for assistance. Most junior colleges offer such courses for a decent price.
Get a DVD on baby sign language. Baby Mozart has some. It’s pretty easy because it’s just simple signs like bottle, and eat, and wet. Good luck with your baby!
