I really badly want to learn sign and i know that having a pen pal wont help learn it but i really just want to know more about being deaf and things that i would need to know to learn sign language. I am 15 by the way

I have no idea how to help you on this one but I just wanted to let you know I think it is WONDERFUL what you are doing.
As a suggestion, try to google for a school for the impaired close to you and give them a call, they will be able to help you more than all of us here.
Well I’m not deaf but I did go to school with a girl that was. I picked up sign language from watching her. I think it’s a great thing to know because you might need it at some point in life, whether it be for yourself or to help someone else out. Good luck in your search:)
