  1. You can call or go to a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in your area to see where there might be a beginner class offered.

    You can check with the Deaf Community in your area. Look it up on “google” in the city or county that you live in.

    It may be offered at adult education.

    It is offered in many colleges.

  2. You can get great jobs in michigan in ASL! You could be a video relay operator. Video relay is new technology that uses “webcam” like things so that people can sign to eachother. If a hearing person calls someone who only has a Video Phone, then an interpreter is needed to be the “go between”. Some community colleges offer sign language, but be sure to check into the laws in your state about certification of asl interpreters, because they are in the process of changing laws in ohio. I’m not sure If everyone is or just ohio…
