Yes I would. She would do anything for me so the least I could do is that. She will need someone by her side to help her through that difficult time. It would be hard to be there and not know how to sign. I’ve always found sign language interesting.

I am very friendly with a couple who are both deaf.
They have three sons, I asked this couple to teach me Sign Language so that I could then teach there children.
It lifts my heart now to see the boys ‘talking’ to their parents.
I hope I made a difference to their lives.
I would recommend anyone to learn to sign and think basic signing should be taught in schools ,,,fact is any 2 best friends husbands and wife’s should have a basic set of signes made between them ,,,and we do ,,,as far as as wanting things to remember in the hearing world a waterfall ,,,,ocean waves ,,,,just sitting in the woods ,,,laughter
