Is sign language really difficult to learn?

I want to learn it this summer.
I am not deaf, blind, nor do I have hearing problems.
I’m really serious about it. THe only problem is, I live in a VERY small town, and there are no lessons offered for about 45 miles, meaning I’d have to use a book, which I am perfectly fine with.
My question is, is it really hard to learn?
.

  1. No

    Like everything else it takes
    alot of
Practice , practice , practice , pratice…etc etc etc etc etc

  2. Not really, it might seem hard at first like any language but it eventually gets easier as u start understanding it, and i think u can learn it online too…good luck

  3. It depends. I am deaf and I know sign language. It take practice like everything else. You can get sign language books and tapes on ebay. Or try Harris Communications they sell deaf related products books on sign language. Also there are websites that will teach you sign language. Just type in learn sign language and they will show it to you for free.

  4. Sign language is not that difficult to learn and understand easily kindergarten students in a elementary school by me learn the basics of sign language so at your age of time where its easier to understand im sure it would not be that hard for someone of your age to learn. Im your contact:)

  5. No it is very easy

from the thumb down to your small finger are the vowels A E I O and U
