iv never taken Spanish but I’m a Junior in high school going into my 2ND year of ASL its really fun and not that hard to learn if you just pay attention and practice!!! practicing is super impotent to learning ASL
If you never learn any other language beside your mother tongue, it’s going to be challenging.
Any language has a certain level of difficulty. Although, the more you get focused in the learning process, and the more you practice the language, the faster you can get it.
I’m not going to talk about Spanish, because I’m from Argentina and it’s my mother tongue. So it was easy for me to learn it. I learned English since my adolescence and I can say now that I’m fluent in it. Also since I was 18 I started to learn LSA (Argentinian Sign Language) and later on, ASL. My wife is American and also an ASL interpreter.
Believe me, learning languages is going to open your mind and it’s going to give you a lot of chances in the business field.
Just, get on it, practice, practice and practice.
