  1. Interesting to note that the variations on basic sounds weren’t included, like t to d and k to g. But this is really cool. Maybe after I finish studying Japanese in school, I can learn JSL. 😛

  6. @purplegeek85 ASL is so much different. I mean the Japanese alphabet and English alphabet are nothing alike.

  7. No, the middle finger is the Kana (Japanese letter) to the sound SE.
    Mountain is the flat hand drawing in the air a mountain.

    Though in korea sign language it means mountain.

  9. beautiful. My parents are deaf and use ASL, how you signed is really beautiful. I would like to learn that, that’s pretty cool. Question, I hear that in sign in Japanese that “mountain” is the middle finger?? just curious if that is correct.
