“One Time” by Justin Bieber in ASL. This song is for my sister Beth 🙂 I chose to interpret this in English word order because, as a beginner, it’s much easier for me to do it that way. I can’t think in ASL word order yet. The program I used to add the music cropped the video a little so now you can’t see some of the signs 🙁 Sorry!! I didn’t know it was gonna do that. I liked most of your translation of the song, but in the beginning when he says in the song “your world is my world, your fight is my fight, your heart is my heart” u glossed it “YOUR WORLD MY WORLD” etc. but to make it better u should prolly gloss it. YOUR WORLD MY WORLD SAME. just a suggestion. and u also need to add some more facial expressions and some emotion/passion. it just looks like your reciting signs. that also prolly depends on xperience. keep practicing!!!

this is awesome!!!! my cousin is deaf… he wasnt born that way… he was regular just like i a but he had to get his regular shots like all new orn babbies do, but he was illergic to it so now he is deaf.. 🙁 he is about 20 something… i know the whole alpebet (idk howto spell that) in signlanguage and im 12.. but this is very neat how you know how to do this.. 🙂 write back..

@AMJolene that could also be a regional difference too. everyone does it differently 🙂 i’ve just seen the ILY more than anything else in chicago so that’s what i used!
The I love you sign is ok… just SOME ASL people don’t use it b/c it’s an “English” sign… but it is fine 🙂 You could just say I love you with the arms crossed in front of the chest or the sign. Either is fine. I asked my ASL professor! Lol. You do a great job! this is a hard thing to do to translate songs because the topic-sentence structure is very hard to incorporated. Great!!
