This program was truly heart warming and has given me the motivation I require to make the full transition to the vegetarian diet, I can’t contribute to the suffering of sentient beings any longer. They deserve the opportunity to be free to evolve as a species just like us. But I’m not against the consumption of meat and hunting all together, eating meat can be vital however the cruelty that’s associated with killing animals must be abolished there’s no excuse for that, we can at least promote
cute
Koko for president!
This video shows humans the capacity for sentience among other species. Perhaps we should stop breeding them so their hides are thicker, and help evolve them to intelligence, sapient, races.
How cool would it be, having sapient animals in our society?
Washoe is dead. Alex is dead. Koko lives. As long as she is out there, enjoying life with her friends, I will not cry hearing her story!
sometimes i feel like koko is a human stuck in a gorillas body. so humanlike!!

was very very cool, do u want me to teach u sign language? 🙂
“For example nobody taught Koko the word for ring.”
i cried a little sorry! haha
Espetacular!
Supreme Master Television is AWESOME! Best show ever!!!

I wouldn’t say the universe is flawed because everything is as it should be at our level of spiritual growth. There is definitely a difference in the kind of killing though because if you practice spiritually the killing of a plant for sustenance is easily erased whereas the killing of an animal with a higher consciousness is not easily erased. So you are right. The only way out is to awaken the divine and to find a Living Master who is able to do that and offer safe passage to our eternal home.
this video is soooooooooooooooo touching i almost cryed
Gnostic Belief is very similar, however without the idea of unintentional sin or bad karma… The universe is flawed because we must destroy and kill to live, even plants have souls and thoughts, and we are all connected because we come from the same thing, we are all a part of one divine aspect. So as we consume, we kill to yet live another day. There really is no way around it, we must search within ourselves, and awaken the divine, that perfect grace, so we may return home.
Dr. penny taught a male gorilla, micheal, sign language and he was soppose to be koko’s mate because scientists wanted to see if micheal and koko would teach their offspring Gorilla Sign Language…but they were more like siblings more then lovers
We have come back again and again to love. To learn to love. Love is a Heavenly quality that can calm all fears, end all wars and create peace on earth.
Our spiritual journey has then begun. To find the truth in everything. It is very difficult to judge without wisdom because when we judge a situation with our minds, we falter. We do not know the past karmic retribution that has caused these events that have arisen now. We cannot see the intricate web of that person’s soul. That is why spiritual practise is so important. But at the same time we need to help those that are suffering even though we know that their karma brought them to that point.
Karma is a Sanskrit word for cause and effect. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is something that is logical. So you can see that Karma is at work in everyone’s life including yours. One doesn’t need to remember one’s past life as we have lived it already. But we will keep coming back until we decide that we don’t want to play this game anymore. At that time we will start to ask all the questions regarding life. Why are we here? What is the purpose of life?
And what evidence do you have this “karma” exists, and if you believe in reincarnation, what use is it being reincarnated if you don’t remember what you did in your previous life? Did the African children do something bad in the past life to deserve what they are going through now?
That is hard to say because it goes into their storehouse of karma. Because they are bound to the cycle of birth and death they will always keep storing this type of karma so will keep having to come back to deal with it. Eat and be eaten.
